Shipping Policy

A written route, separate dispatch and transit timelines, and clear receiving responsibilities for wholesale shipments.

Written control

The PI or shipping confirmation controls the route, trade term, destination, cost allocation and current estimate for each shipment.

01 Listed SKUs 30-day dispatch standard
02 Timeline clarity Dispatch is not delivery
03 Route control Confirmed in writing
01

What the shipping agreement covers

  • Destination, delivery method, trade term and receiving address.
  • SKU mix, carton plan, labels, packing references and any warehouse requirements.
  • Quoted freight cost, responsibility split and the estimate available when the order is confirmed.

Route availability and timing can change with product restrictions, destination rules, carrier capacity, customs and seasonal conditions.

02

How the timeline is measured

  1. 01

    Order locked

SKU, packaging, payment and receiving requirements are confirmed.

  2. 02

    Production and QC

Listed catalog SKUs follow a standard requiring dispatch from China within 30 days, unless the PI states otherwise.

  3. 03

    Dispatch

Cargo leaves the agreed origin and the transit stage begins.

  4. 04

    Transit and delivery

Carrier movement, customs clearance and final delivery follow the selected route.

03

Route options

We recommend a route after reviewing urgency, shipment size, destination and receiving workflow.

Managed delivery

DDP

A door-to-door plan with the agreed logistics responsibilities confirmed before shipment. Availability depends on destination and product scope.

Time-sensitive

Air freight

Used for urgent restocks, samples or smaller shipments when speed justifies the higher freight cost.

Volume planning

Sea freight / FOB

Used for larger planned orders. The handoff point, freight responsibility and receiving process are confirmed in writing.

04

Documents and receiving preparation

  • Commercial invoice and packing list.
  • Shipment reference or tracking details when available.
  • HS classification and other route documents where applicable.
  • Carton marks, warehouse labels or appointment requirements supplied by the buyer before production.
05

Damage, shortage or loss at delivery

Fast evidence protects the carrier claim and the wholesale resolution process.

  • Photograph or video the outer cartons before unpacking when damage is visible.
  • Record carton count, damaged labels and any delivery-receipt notes.
  • Report visible carrier damage within 48 hours where practical, and no later than the 7-day delivery-discrepancy window.
  • Keep all packaging until TOP KNIVES confirms the next step.
06

Customs, restrictions and local legality

Import, possession and resale rules vary by country, state and product type. Buyers must confirm that the selected products are lawful for their market.

A shipping quote or DDP route does not replace the buyer’s responsibility to confirm local product legality and sales restrictions.

Shipping questions

Does 30-day dispatch mean 30-day delivery?

No. Dispatch means the shipment leaves China within the stated production window. Transit, customs and final delivery occur afterward.

Which route is best for my order?

Share destination, quantity, urgency and receiving type. We compare the practical route options available for that shipment.

Can you ship to a warehouse or fulfillment center?

Yes when the route supports it. Provide labels, carton rules, appointment details and any inbound plan before production.

Need an order-specific answer?
